The thesis explores the field of fine dining and high-end restaurants in order to propose a quality
design solution for a product collection intended to serve food in fine dining restaurants.
The theoretical part includes a study of gastronomy, the user, the design, and a summary of two
interviews. The project part of the thesis shows, through visualisations and drawings, the design
phase and the final solution and its packaging.
The design solution is Alegria, the product collection. A stainless steel tray and four porcelain bowls
of different sizes form a combination of different materials, uses and artistic elements, without
limiting the creative process of the chefs.
