The thesis aims to uncover the profound interconnections between visual arts and music, exploring innovative methods for translating musical concepts into visual form. Through theoretical analysis and practical experimentation, the thesis explores the connections and translation possibilities between visual arts and music. Initially, I examined works of fine art and design, focusing on how artists integrated music into their creations. Moreover, investigated the physical basis of sound and light. I explored the basics of art theory, interweaving them with music theory and relating both to physical discoveries. The findings of the theoretical analysis served as a basis for my research in practice. I made two attempts at translation between music and the visual. For the final product, I chose a piece of music and used it as a basis and inspiration for the design of a typeface, from which I created an animation to accompany the chosen piece. I focused on the movement and expressiveness of the characters, which are not based on existing typefaces. I justified my decisions as I went along and ultimately evaluated the process and the final product.
