In my thesis, I explored the impact of communication between partners on their children. I also focused on the influence of parents' demographic characteristics and how these affect their perception of the importance of communication within the family. In the initial part of the thesis, I examined communication from a theoretical perspective and then proceeded with the research part. The research was conducted using the SPSS programme, and the results were interpreted through the obtained tables. I found that according to parents, communication between partners is of utmost importance for the development of their children, and that the concept of communication is very broad. Additionally, demographic differences within each family, such as the parents' age, gender, and education, are highly significant. This highlights the need for further education and awareness-raising among parents about the importance of effective communication for the optimal development of children.
