Soft tools are tools for polymer injection moulding, made with additive manufacturing. They present a cheaper and faster alternative to traditional steel tooling. In this final work we studied the influence of injection pressure on durability of soft tool inserts. We produced soft tool inserts using digital light processing. We then ran experiments where we used two different pressure settings. Next, we analysed the results. We found that holding pressure accelerates the breaking of smaller details on the soft tool inserts, but it does not influence the dimensional deformation of the smaller details.
