This thesis focuses on the preparations for cadastral services referred to as borderland proceedings. The
aim is to enhance the positional precision of positional data of the cadastral systems on the basis of
numerous preliminary measurements and their processing using an appropriate method. The thesis
analyses old elaborates taken from an archive dealing with the lot and the broader surroundings in the
village Sveto situated in the municipality of Komen in the Karst region. Described is the measurement
process in the field, including the establishment of a geodetic network using the static method,
measuring of details with numerous polar monitoring and tracking the existing border marks at the area
subject to research. For the purposes of measuring the geodetic network the thesis describes the
procedure of processing with measurements, appropriate input data, parameters and results. The thesis
describes the procedure of processing numerous geodetic measurements so as to enhance the precision
of cadastral data. The purpose of the thesis is to outline the execution of a cadastral field measurement
using appropriate geodetic methods of measurement and the processing of the data using a variety of
geodetic software in order to prepare a cadastral procedure of borderland proceedings. The results are
juxtaposed to the existing property cadastre.
