A plan for Jemec forest estate (92 ha) located in Selška Valley was made. The previous management was analyzed. Including the owner forest management strategies were determined in the field of forest stands development, work organization, processing and marketing of assortments, forest roads and other functions. The stand and technological conditions were analyzed in detail in the field. Map of stands and plan for specific areas of management were made. A silvicultural plan was presented in two versions, with the planed actions wehad drawn attention to a different urgency in their performance. In the economic judgement, the cost of felling and harvesting timber on the estate were calculated if the owner works by himself. The costs of different harvesting techniques for actual and optimal openness of forests with forest roads were calculated and compared. The cost of harvesting are reduced by 27 % if we construct missing forest roads. Annual rent (EUR 20304), which allows oneworking place on the farm was calculated.
