In this master's thesis, we examine the underutilization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in a small-scale operational construction company. The focus has been placed on the analysis and optimization of business processes, alongside the introduction of potential digitalization strategies. We have thoroughly assessed critical operational areas, identifying redundancies and a lack of integration across processes, which diminish the company's operational efficiency. From this analysis, we formulated a set of requirements necessary for improvements through the adoption of suitable ICT, incorporating solutions to integrate existing processes and enhance the company's performance. A comprehensive evaluation and selection of available ICT solutions on the market were conducted, leading to a proposed strategy for their implementation. The thesis concludes with an appraisal of the company’s prospective state post-ICT implementation, evaluating the impacts and suggesting subsequent steps for the maintenance and enhancement of the digital infrastructure. The objective of this work was to establish guidelines for an effective digital transformation that will facilitate enhanced project tracking and management, optimize business processes, increase productivity, and provide a competitive edge in the market.
