In the thesis, we studied the field of event management. The purpose of the work was to investigate the process of organizing events and to develop a web application that facilitates the work of event organizers. The research is based on an extensive review of professional and scientific literature by local and foreign authors, as well as an analysis of existing solutions in this field with the aim of understanding the challenges faced by event organizers.
The development process began with a thorough capture of the requirements and their precise specification, followed by in-depth planning and then the implementation of a web application prototype. The entire process is documented in detail in our work. In the development of the web application, we used modern technologies such as React, Node, Express and MariaDB.
By developing a web application that meets the needs of event organizers as well as event visitors, we have contributed to practice by creating an efficient system that simplifies the work of event organizers. The application has the potential for further improvements and expansions. Our task goes beyond just the field of event management, as the entire research process and web application development can serve as a model for similar projects in different fields.
