This thesis presents the process of making a tactile photograph. Through the process, two- dimensional photographs were converted into three-dimensional, so called relief objects, while still using the original photograph as a basic starting point. With abstraction and through the process of making the relief, I allowed the multi-sensory representation of new information that was not visible in the original photograph, or some of which I obscured or removed. By adding a third dimension, I have made the photograph tactile, so that one can not only look at it and feel it through the eyes but also through a sense of touch
