V raziskavo so bile vključene srednje medicinske sestre in diplomirane medicinske sestre.

Naslov:Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on safety and workplace relations of healthcare employees
Izvleček:
Appropriate workplace safety and relationships in healthcare are two of the key factors crucial for the success of healthcare institutions.. The purpose of the master's thesis was to analyze the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the safety and workplace relationships of healthcare employees. The survey method was used to assess the evaluation of safety and workplace relationship factors, obtaining results at the primary, secondary, and tertiary levels. The study included both registered nurses and licensed practical nurses. It was found that, on average, the participants in the study were undecided about the negative deterioration of relationships with colleagues, superiors, and the rest of the healthcare team. It was also discovered that men expressed a slightly better stance regarding the improvement of relationships with superiors and the rest of the team during the pandemic, indicating that, in the opinion of women, the pandemic had a more negative impact on workplace relationships in healthcare. On average, employees with longer work experience rated the deterioration of relationships with superiors as less severe compared to those with less work experience. It was also found that the protective equipment used at work was of good quality. It is important to offer assistance through professional counseling and support groups to healthcare workers experiencing psychological difficulties in the workplace. Measures should be taken by management to reward healthcare employees and further motivate them to perform their duties.
