Theatre is an art of its own kind. It is accurate for children to get familiarized with the theatre as art is enhancing man. The tesk of the diploma is to discover if visiting the theatre encourages distinction at learning achievements at school; in doing so we based our research on Bourdieu’s theory of cultural capital. This has enabled the interpretation of unequal learning achievements of children at school since educational achievements are associated with the amount of capital which is not evenly distributed among class structure. Each visit of the theatre increases cultural capital, therefore the visit of play “Močeradek gre čez cesto” is an excellent choice for one of the first child encounters with the theatre. “Močeradek gre čez cesto” is a different, distinctive show that enables a temporary community to be established between audience and performers. We are witnessing a performative turn described from the point of view of the performative aesthetics by Erika Fischer Lichte as a concept, marking the stage performance as an event, which we also witness at “Močeradek gre čez cesto” show hosted at the Ljubljana Puppet Theatre.
