The theme of this thesis is the connection of Komenda commercial zone with Vodice highway exit, due to the traffic issues in Vodice that are a direct result of traffic to the commercial zone. Since Vodice bypass road was opened for traffic on August 21st 2023, the load of traffic through Vodice itself has decreasing drastically, however the congestions at the entrance to the commercial zone and on VodiceMoste regional road remain. It was because of this critical point that a search for new entrance into the commercial zone was initiated. In this thesis the planning of a new access road is presented. The new access road would directly connect the Vodice bypass road and the commercial zone via a proposed new entrance on the west side of the commercial zone. The planned road was drawn using Plateia software. Horizontal and vertical course of the road route were drawn, and normal transverse profiles of the road were made. This served as the basis for calculation of the volume of embankments and excavations. On the horizontal situation the drainage of the road is also shown. In summary the planned solution was evaluated whether or not it warrants the construction of such road.
