Modern timber construction and prefabrication represent advanced approaches to building using wood as the primary construction material. Both concepts have numerous advantages, including environmental sustainability, construction speed, energy efficiency, and aesthetic possibilities. The purpose of this thesis is to present the process of designing a public commercial building, from the architectural design, creation of structural documentation, and selection of construction materials, to monitoring the on-site assembly of the structure. The construction is drawn using Dietrich software, which offers a variety of CAD functions and serves as a universal tool for conceptual, project, and workshop plans. In Industry 4.0, as well as in Construction 4.0, the key to success lies in digital transformation, enabling greater efficiency, innovation, and better utilization of data for decision-making.
