The idea of book spine poetry, which links literature and photography in an interdisciplinary manner, was born in Italy and has spread across Slovenia from the Slovene Primorska region. The literary challenges of this innovative form of poetry raise the question whether such possibilities of postmodernist and pseudo-modernist expression have been superseded in contemporary Slovene poetry.
