Najintenzivnejši simptomi so utrujenost, depresija in bolečine.

Naslov:Nursing role in the management of woman with endometriosis : diploma work
Izvleček:
Introduction: Endometriosis is a gynecological disease, an estrogen-dependent progressive disorder, characterized by an appearance of the uretus tissue outside the uterine cavity. The disease can be symptomatic or asymptomatic, most often it affects women of reproductive age. The best method for diagnosing is laparoscopy, which is a minimally invasive procedure. A multidisciplinary approach is important, in which the nurse also plays a critical role. Purpose: The purpose of the thesis is to describe endometriosis, its symptoms, to present laparoscopy as a method of treatment and to describe nursing role in the treatment of women with endometriosis. Methods: A descriptive research method was used. A review of the relevant scientific and professional literature in electronic form was carried out. The search was conducted in bibliographic databases CINAHL, MEDLINE and by the use of search engine DiKUL. Results: Endometriosis is a debilitating disease, mainly associated with dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia, chronic pelvic pain and infertility, so its rapid diagnosis is very important. The most intense symptoms are fatigue, depression and pain. As part of the diagnostics, we perform transvaginal ultrasound and magnetic resonance, the most reliable method is laparoscopy, which removes adhesions and the so-called chocolate cysts. The role of the nurse during the treatment is important as she is the source of the information, the first to obtain the symptoms through the anamnesis and the one that offers support to the patients. Discussion and conclusion: Holistic care is important, as this enables us to recognize the symptoms as soon as possible and to refer the patient to the specialist who recommends appropriate treatment. Women need to be provided with support and information related to the disease at all times.
