Introduction: Cerebral palsy is the result of brain damage that occurs during prenatal, perinatal or postnatal development. The most common form is spastic cerebral palsy. Children with cerebral palsy are classified according to functional abilities using different classification systems, for example according to gross motor abilities or according to hand function. Many children with cerebral palsy have problems in the field of hand function which affects further development of drawing and writing. One of the instruments that can be used for assessment is Writing Readiness Inventory Tool In Context. Occupational therapists plan and conduct treatments, focusing on the child's functioning areas. Purpose: The purpose of the thesis is to present the occupational therapy treatment of a child with cerebral palsy with graphomotor skills problems, who was included in the rehabilitation program at the University Rehabilitation Institute of the Republic of Slovenia Soca. Methods: A case report was made. We carried out the process of occupational therapy with the child. The therapy took place over a period of three weeks, from Monday to Friday, 45 minutes a day, for a total of 13 days. In the beginning, we performed three evaluations, which we repeated at the end. In the meantime, we executed two additional evaluations without repetition. We used them only for further explanations of the situation. Results: According to the parent, the girl’s performance and satisfaction improved in tasks such as cutting with scissors along a line, tracing lines and buttoning/unbuttoning by the end of the treatments. She has progressed in colouring and cutting with scissors. She did better on the paper-and-pencil tasks, but not well enough to earn a higher grade. Discussion and conclusion: The final examination results are still poor and the writing readiness is insufficient. The girl managed sitting on the trip-trap chair independently, walked a certain path without help and participated in occupational therapy treatments without her mother's presence. To improve the results, it would be necessary to continue with targeted occupational therapy treatments.
