The thesis focuses on the problem of flooding caused by the overuse of water-permable paved surfaces in urban centres. The project relates to the selected scenario with the traffic layout of the Slovenska cesta, assuming the public transport is withdrawn undergorund. With this and the analyses carried out, I wanted to improve the permability of the paved surfaces in the area of Slovenska cesta in Ljubljana, on the section between
Cankarjeva cesta and Štefanova ulica. The result of the whole project is an urban conceptual design for paving of Slovenska cesta section.
