The aim of the thesis is to analyze the opportunities for a company that manufactures children's clothing.
In the theoretical part, I have focused on trends of children's clothing in the 21st century, the materials from which children's clothing is made, the colors and patterns of children's clothing and the different cuts. After that, I focused the sale of children's clothes. I also described what a business model is and what components a business model contains. I obtained the data for the diploma thesis by using a survey, interview, and participant observation, so I also described the methodology of the words survey, interview, and participant observation.
In the experimental part, I have presented the results obtained with the help of a survey of companies and a survey of mothers, the results obtained with the help of interviews, and the results obtained with the help of participant observation and described Slovenian companies with children's clothes. Then, based on the obtained results, I prepared a business model proposal, considering the customer segment, unique value, distribution channels and channels, relationship with users, revenue streams, key activities, key assets, key partnerships and cost structure.
