The author discusses the Enlightenment play Pogovar od pijače inu ventočejna tega Vina med enim G. Fajmoštram inu med šterjimi Farmani (Talks about drinking and pouring wine between the parish priest and four parishioners) written by Silvester Mure as an original Slovene literary work towards the end of the 18th century. The play not published the late 19th century and has been ignored by Slovene literary history. Through a compositional, thematic and conceptual analysis the author uncovers the Enlightenment and Baroque elements, compares the play with two recognized Slovene dramatic works from the 18th century, and points out that the ignored Slovene Enlightenment play anticipates some trends in foreign and Slovene dramas of the 20th century.
