The master thesis outlines the work and activities of the anonymous feminist group Guerrilla Girls. With its establishment in 1985, a series of interventions began, focusing not only on the art world, but also on other aspects of culture, such as politics, music, film and so on. The group has left an important mark on the history of institutional critique and feminist art. Their work has spread from the United States, where the group was founded, to the rest of the world. The purpose of this thesis is to present their interventions in the first two decades, based on the fields of action as defined by them. The last part of the thesis focuses mainly on one of their recent interventions and its relation to related theoretical aspects.
