Aerodynamic characteristics of airfoils outline their most important properties but disregard the effect of wing length. Wing length and small aspect ratio affect airflow around the wing. With the goal of determining this effect on the aerodynamic properties of the wing, we designed and constructed a mechanism that enabled us to set the wing's angle of attack. We measured the velocity field in the wind tunnel test section and aerodynamic forces on a small aspect ratio wing. The results confirm theoretical predictions of airflow behaviour around the wing, however, the test section or the wing model size are not suitable for direct comparison of measured values with values we find in literature.
