Thermosets and their composites have many advantages over other materials that are widely used in industry. Recently, such composites have also proven to have good tribological properties. In the master's thesis, we focused on the evaluation of two water-lubricated material pairs on a pin-on-disk instrument and determined the wear mechanisms with the use of a scanning electron microscope. For material pairs, we have given guidelines for their use at two different temperatures, three loads and two sliding speeds for water-lubricated contact.
