As part of the project, we produced and analyzed the aerodynamic characteristics of propellers with an adjustable angle of attack. When designing and testing propellers with the desire to spend as little time and money as possible, the question arises as to whether it is possible to use a 3D plastic printer to assemble flexible, scaled propellers that we can compare to authentic performance data for different propeller configurations. We focused on making the measuring device, which we then installed into the wind tunnel. We examined how changing the angle of attack of the blades effects the capacity or efficiency of a three-bladed propeller. From the obtained data, we determined the optimal configuration of the propellers regarding efficiency, cost of propellers and air speed.
