In this diploma thesis, we learn about modern technologies of house electrical installations. These are smart installations or home automation systems that aim to facilitate people's everyday lives. Intelligent installations offer more comfort, safety and control options for the user. They provide solutions in the regulation of lighting, heating, shades and security systems, and scenario planning.
The first part of this diploma covers modern smart electrical installation technologies, the development of which started at the very end of the 19th century. Up to now, home automation systems have evolved considerably and are present as seperate systems in almost every home. Nowadays, we are striving to connect all the devices in the house into a common system that can be managed in many ways. This is made possible by modern intelligent installation systems. In our area, the most common systems are KNX, Entia Living and MyHOME_Up.
The second part of the thesis describes the construction of a Legrand demonstration board. For the purposes of the Electrical Installation and Lighting course, we have created a demonstration board of the MyHOME_Up electrical installation system. Production started with a study of the supplied elements and the initial design of the board. After that, we prepared an electrical plan, a plan for the carpenter and a graphic. This was followed by the installation of the elements and their connection by wires. In the last step, we tested and configured the system. We have described the whole exercise and all programming steps in the exercise instructions, which students are using in practical exercises during this school year.
