In the final work we want to determine the flow and pressure conditions in the circuit with different flow control valves. A hydraulic throttle check valve, a pressure compensating flow control valve and a three port pressure compensating flow control valve are used. Two identical valves are connected in parallel, and pressure relief valve is connected in series with the valve we use to simulate various loads. The tests were first performed using the Automation Studio simulation tool and then practically in the LFT laboratory premises. We measured the flow through each valve at different loads and throttle check valve settings. The work showed that a hydraulic throttle check valve does not provide parallelism. The pressure compensating flow valve and the three port pressure compensating flow valve provide a constant flow regardless of the pressure differential and the size of the load.
