Bachelor's thesis discusses the influence of COVID-19 on educational process. COVID-19 has influenced all spheres of our lives, including educational process. By April 2020 the pandemic had affected 94 % of students in the world. To stop the spread of the virus, many countries have introduced remote learning as one of the countermeasures. But because this type of education has not been well developed, the countries faced major challenges. For remote learning many technical conditions had to be fulfilled, which were connected to the economic development of each country. In Bachelor's thesis we present organisation of educational processes in Slovenia, Finland, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, India, Republic of South Africa and Colombia during the COVID-19 pandemic. Furthermore, we compared these selected countries regarding the time students spent on remote learning, the accessibility of information and communication technology and of the internet, and the organisation of the remote learning. We highlighted problems connected to remote learning of each country and outlined the consequences of remote learning.
