Studies showed decrease in body weight, body mass index, waist circumference, hip circumfernce, waist-to-hip ration and body fat percentage. Discussion and conclusion: The results of the studies show that Zumba is an effective form of exercise to improve anthropometric measurement and body composition in adult overweight or obese women. Zumba had a positive effect on improving the value of body composition measurements. For better results, it is advisable to add a healthy diet. An additional advantage of Zumba is socializing with co-workers and feelings of social connection. Due to its popularity, especially among women, it could be implemented to help prevent the prevalence of overweight and obesity. If we want physical activity to be beneficial for our health, it must be regular and appropriate.
