This thesis presents the practically analyzed logistics of the online retailer Amazon. It is described the definition of online store and the history, where it all started. Also it is presented the advantages and disadvantages of online sales and how it developed. Then it is described the logistics behind successful online store. Also it is described the logistics subsystems, procurement logistics, internal logistics, warehousing where it is also described the commissioning of goods, distribution logistics, sales logistics which is crucial if the seller wants that the customer make a purchase again and relieve the logistics which is important for environmental protection. Then, on a practical example of a dog pad, it is presented the aspects of logistics from the seller on the Amazon website and then from the point of view of the buyer. It is also presented an improvement that the sellers believe that it would be effective for even more successful operation of both Amazon with sellers as well as potential buyers.
