With the widespread use of advanced technologies, the need has arisen to protect electronically stored personal data. Therefore, in 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) was adopted, which supplements the Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-1) and focuses mainly on electronic data collection and processing. Organizations must therefore ensure that data is stored and edited appropriately. The Volunteering Act, passed in 2011, regulates the rights and duties of a volunteer and the duties that an organization has towards a volunteer. Due to changes in legislation, there was a need to update the membership base of the Scout Association Rod Tršati Tur.
The purpose of the diploma thesis is to present the legislation related to associations, volunteering and personal data protection and to create web applications for the membership database and archery competitions. The diploma thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The first part includes a presentation of the Associations Act (ZDru-1), the organization of scout organizations and the Volunteering Act (ZProst). The practical part includes the development of the online application of archery competition and the online application of the membership database. The online application of archery competition enables the electronic execution of competitions and entries. The web application of the membership database is developed in accordance with the SUVP and enables the addition and editing of members in the association. They are made in the Laravel framework and in the programming languages PHP and JavaScript. The online membership database application can be used with any changes in any scout or volunteer organization.
