The objective of the thesis was to construct a new dosemeter for measuring the absorbed beta-radiation dose of short-lived radon decay products. First, the importance of the background of radon decay products and the basics of termoluminescent dosemeters are explained. Then, the basic concepts of two new termoluminescent dosemeters are described. In the main part of the thesis the measurements and the results obtained with the two new dosemeters are presented. Considering additional measurements of radon activity concentration, the equilibrium factor between radon and its progenies for closed places was succesfully estimated. New Beti dosemeters and equilibrium factor calculations presented in this thesis represent a promising beginning of further research of absorbed dose of beta radiation and determining the activity concentration of radon decay products, as well as the equilibrium factors between them and radon.
