Within this thesis, we developed a computer program that determines the frequency
transfer function of the considered system using fast Fourier transform in the LabVIEW
programming environment. We first determined it on simulated signals and later also
on measured signals obtained with a pressure step generator, the shock tube. Errors
of the method in comparison with the analytical solution are considered. Furthermore,
the effects of natural frequency, damping ratio, sampling frequency and acquired signal
length on the accuracy of the method are also presented.
