The digitalization of the modern world is developing at such a high pace that most people cannot follow its development. Recent generations have grown up with technology, so they can understand and use it better than the generations before them. Since our school system still uses traditional teaching methods, our children are never introduced to the various benefits of using ICT devices for learning. This dissertation deals with the use of smartphones in our educational system. This teaching method is not present in our primary schools at all. For this reason, I have focused on problems that are encountered when trying to implement the use of smartphones for a better learning experience. I also present possible solutions to these problems and propose concrete implementations.
