In our local sites, termites are present only in some regions of Primorska, Mediterranean regions and Tropics are more affected with this problem. The purpose of the research is to determine the resistance of some chemical compounds on yellownecked termite. The aim is to define the efficiency od 3 different wood impregnations on the mortality of yellownecked termite. The spruce samples (50 mm x 10 mm x 10 mm) were impregnated with different products. We placed 15 mm glass cylinder on the samples. The samples with termites were placed in a chamber with temperature of 26 °C and 90 % humidity. The state of termites was controlled for 16 weeks. The test was made with Becker's method (1969). We found that all used combinations of preservative preparations were the most effective on the second day of monitoring, the difference between final mortality of all used products was negligibile. It also, however, showed unexpectedly large mortality in the control samples. Based on the obtained results the termiticides used were not most effective.
