Standardization and unification of various components of agricultural equipment are
becoming increasingly common and often lead to deprivation of its end users. Due to the
standard layout of the bearings in the existing gearboxes, the operating time of agricultural
equipment under a certain angle is limited. The objective of this thesis is to develop a
dedicated gearbox which allows for usage of agricultural equipment unrestrictedly under
different conditions. The developed solution enables better lubrication of the critical points
due to the change of the bearing layout and the shape of the case. The existing solutions and
operating conditions in which the gearbox will operate are presented in the first part of the
thesis. Further, the bevel gear dimensions are determined following the ISO 23509: 2016
standard, the load-carrying capacity of the bevel gearsis calculated following the ISO 10300:
2014 standard, the forces and static model of the shaft are determined, the load-carrying
capacity of the bearings is calculated using a dedicated tool and the load capacity of the shaft
is calculated. The results of the FEM analysis of the case and the cover of the gearbox are
also presented. All the technical solutions can be seen in the enclosed technical
documentation.
