In my thesis, titled Ergonomics of computer gaming mice I researched and analysed the ergonomics of gaming mice. I researched the ergonomics of computer mice and went in-depth into the problematics of multiple hour usage and the ergonomics behind long term usage. The main goal is to redesign and perfect the usage of computer gaming mice. The result of my thesis was achieved through the acknowledgement of technical, ergonomic, and user defined requirements in the design of computer accessories. The solution or result of the thesis is an ergonomic computer gaming mouse that tries to intertwine the needs of advanced users with the least amount of hand pressure. During the research analytical phase of the development I described gaming and the health hazards that come with using a computer mouse for longer periods of time. I described the workplace of users, and I also measured the differences in using several mice. The results were compared to get the differences in their accuracy and responsiveness. An important part of the research cycle was the user experience with the mice, which they explained through comments at the end of the testing phase. In the second part of my thesis I showed the process of finding the end solution, where I defined the issues and met the set design principles. Through sketching and quick modelling, I reached the end model. The ultimate solution solves the troubles I defined through text and images beforehand.
