This bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of stress related threats in a chosen organization. Ensuring that employees face stressful situations the least frequently possible is crucial for achieving their goals and has major impact on the reputation of an organization. Therefore, it is absolutely essential to discover main triggers that cause stress.
The thesis starts by introducing the scope of stress, continues with naming its causes and symptomes as well as its consequences. The purpose of the research, carried out within a chosen organization, was to establish whether employees face stressful situations and burnout, how often this happens and what triggers them.
The analysis findings gathered by interviewing method revealed low levels of employees' endangerment due to stress. Moreover, the results showed that overworking and poor organization was causing the most stress at work, both for women and men equally. This suggests that in the future, employers will need to hire additional workforce to reduce the workload of their employees, in order to improve the well-being of the latter. The duty of an organization is to enable its employees to balance their professional and private lives and that they are not required to overwork. In order to avoid overwork, an organization must hire a reasonable number of people to do the required job.
