Bachelor's thesis focuses on the human body, its mobility capabilities and the dynamics of movements. It analyzes the body in cooperation with unconventional textiles and at the same time displays the body's responses to the textiles. Consequently, the work touches textures, which in terms of shape and colour appear differently than textiles.
In nature, there are various different textures that have evolved themselves, without human influence, through evolution. The man has always been the one who has followed the nature and has interfered with it in many ways, while nature is completely authentic and does not take anybody as an example, it also does not surrender to mankind in fact it fights him back.
The purpose of the diploma thesis is to show through the video the relationship of the human body in movement with textiles and also to present the relation of body shapes with existing textures from nature.
In the theoretical part, the task focuses on the analysis of the human body through the theme of contemporary dance and through the artistic genre called performance. Furthermore it touches upon certain artists who have made an impact in areas such as Marina Abramović, Oskar Schlemmer and Lucy Mcrae.
An important matter for the realization process of the experimental part of the work is the theory of film and video, as well as the inspirational directors who influenced the development of the media.
In the practical part, the experimental video was recorded.
The whole process of producing a video that was recorded in the exterior is presented. The video shows the relationship of the human body to textiles and consequently to the most important element: that is nature.
