With the idea of establishing the Institute of Ecumenical Theology and Inter-religious Dialogue, named after Stanko Janežič, the Faculty of Theology of University of Ljubljana, with its Branch Office in Maribor took over the editorship and the issuance of a new series of central Slovenian ecumenical magazine, but is changing the same into a scientific journal with a review because of new substantive and organizational conditions, and it will be soon placed in the international scientific publication databases. The magazine seeks to preserve the tradition of ecumenical idea, which in new religious and cultural conditions is turning necessarily into a dialogue with other religious thus providing opportunities for wider theological and inter-cultural dialogue in the Slovenia region. Two key themes, to which the first issue is dedicated to, as well as a wide selection of co-workers, already indicate its focus and reflect the openness of the spirit that welcomes all well and is able of engaging in a dialogue with those who think differently.
