This is determined by means of semi-structured interviews conducted with an independently working employee in the field of human resources management- education department in organization X and two other professionals in the field of education and training of employees. These lead us to the findings that show the importance of considering circumstances in the design of education and training programs. It is the presence of an increasing number of older employees and the increasing presence of digitization. In this regard, it is important to choose appropriate methods, techniques and approaches, through which we can use the optimal forms of education and training, and in this way design programs organizationally specific and hard to imitate. This is achieved through the recognition of the necessary general and specific competencies and the creation of a competency model.
