The purpose of the diploma work is to stimulate sensory perceptions of pre-school children through various technical activities and to show the educators what all can be done by including also technical education in their work.
In the theoretical part of the thesis, we focused on the importance of technical education in the kindergarten. We also outlined the goals of technique and technology in the pre-school period. We have described the most frequently used technical materials and pointed out the importance of technical corner boards. We also paid attention to the active learning in kindergarten, which is very important in the development of a pre-school child, since it motivates children more, and at the same time acquires concrete experiences, which helps to remember more. We also introduced the senses that were promoted through technical activities and described their operation.
In the practical part we present the answers of children to questions before and after the implementation of technical activities. Seven activities are also described in each sensation, including the exploration and understanding of the child's senses. Children were actively involved in each activity. At the end of the activity, we analyzed each activity and wrote it down. From the answers to the questions, it is evident that children through the technical activities gained a lot of experience and progressed in the knowledge, and from their responses we realized that the activities were interesting, and they were more impressed in their memory, since they were active.
We are educators who have to offer as many materials as possible to the child so that children can learn and use them. By doing so, we contribute to their development of thinking, creativity, manual skills, imagination skills ...
