This thessis presents the control measurements and settings of a computer numerical colntrol milling machine. A comparison of the measurements is made at a factory and when a machine is placed at a final position in the workshop, using an inspection report for vertical milling machines. The calibration procedures for the additional measuring equipment of the machine used for calibrating the milling tools and the position and dimensions of the workpieces on the work table are described. The influence of temperature on the diameter of the setting ring is described. We found that the machine was not correctly positioned on the legs, which we later eliminated, with the correct tightening of the adjustable screws.
