In the theoretical part of the master's thesis, we described the methods by which we optimize the production process, the calculations for determining the cost of jobs and transport, and the calculations in order to determine the profitability of the investment. The current state and problems arising in the production are cited. Based on the material flow, we will create a new arrangement of machines, which will reduce the costs of transport. Due to space hardship, the company decided to build a new hall. Due to the fact that more aluminum than steel began to be processed in the company, some machines have become unusable due to their capacity. Semi-finished products are to be ordered from outsourcers, which means the outflow of money from the company. We have analyzed the calculation of the cost of jobs. With the calculations performed, we obtained data on the basis of which we found that the investment of purchasing new machines is profitable. We recorded the process of welding the product and found that a lot of time losses were generated. We rearranged the workplace so that the product varied on two stations. With the introduction of a new station, the welding process reduced production time and, consequently, the cost of production. To optimize the production process, we used lean methods.
