Unemployment is a phenomenon that occurs in all societies and has a significant impact on individuals. The unemployed people are without income, as well as without a social life that is affordable for employment, so they become more pessimistic and unmotivated. In performing regular study practice at the Employment office Mozirje, I faced many unemployed people, and there I got to know the workshop that I could also attend "If I want it to be different, I must change something". I thought its approach was interesting, the participants were relaxed and more optimistic, despite the fact that the most long-term unemployed were among them. Therefore I wanted to get feedback on the impact of the workshop on the participants, which is also the purpose of the diploma work. However, the goal is to achieve real and objective results of the impact of interventions and services for long-term unemployed on participants with a clear analysis. I investigated the problem with theoretical work and empirical research. The theoretical part in more detail describes the concepts of unemployment, long-term unemployment, measures and services for the unemployed, and evaluation. In the empirical part, I analyzed the data from the internal resources of the Employment Service of Slovenia, which provided feedback on the effect of the workshop on the participants, from the survey, which is filled out by the participants and the evaluation of the workshop itself. In the framework of the analysis, I found out that the workshop, as a service for long-term unemployed, has a major impact on them, since a lot of participants were hired after the end of the workshop, and the participants were, on average, satisfied with the workshop. The diploma work represents a practical contribution to solving the problem of long-term unemployed persons, as it sets out a proposal to increase the number of participants and thus influence more unemployed people.
