In my BA thesis entitled Transformation of the public space through visual messages I examined how we co-create the public space with our profession and focused on the relationship between the disciplines of advertising and graphic design. The relationship was examined with regard to the concepts of ethics and responsibility, which are the main topics as well in the First Things First Manifesto. In reference to the latter I described the concept of society responsive design and additionally focused on one of the subcategories, called culture jamming. According to its definition and principles I made a subvertising intervention into roadside billboards across Slovenia with the use of black paint.
