In this final work, we discussed the pervaporation process. The underlying principle of the process is to remove water from solvents used in the pharmaceutical industry to the point that they can be reused. In this assignment dehydration of solvents by pervaporation was investigated. Special effort was dedicated to purifying isopropanol so that water content in mixture did not exceed 2%. Based on available data from literature appropriate technologies were selected and comparative tests were performed. Dehydration of solvent by pervaporation is engineering-efficient and environmentally friendly process of purifying solvents.
