This thesis deals with measuring the temperature of electrically conductive textile. The purpose is to produce a smart shirt from textile taking advantage of joule heating effect and consequently warming up the person wearing it. The temperature measurements have been performed with Arduino development environment compatible sensors on Spandex textile. We have found out that the temperature sensors LM35, DS1822, NTCLE100E3103JBO and ND06P00103K-- are appropriate for the measurement. We also have to improve the way electrodes are connected to the electrically conductive textile.
