The purpose of our graduation thesis was to present fruit bagging of pome fruits and to find out impact of bagging on quality, colour and taste, weight and size of fruit, damage on fruit, the content of pesticide residues, to show the influence of the different types of bags and material, which was used and what are the costs of bagging. Bagging improves cover colour at suitable weather conditions, the amount of sugar increases, consequently the taste also improves. The longer the fruit was covered with bags, smaller was dimension and weight of fruit. A comparison between years has shown that the amount of precipitation and sun has a large influence on fruit size. When fruit is bagged there is less injuries that would have been caused by birds and weather events and the amount of disease has also decreased. It was found, when bags are used, that there are no pesticide residues on the fruits and we can eat it by gently washing with water. When researching which material is best for bagging, it was found that the best are white and yellow paper bags.
