In the thesis, we perform analysis and design of typical load-bearing elements from the multi-residential building named A4, located in Gaj Preserje, Domžale. Load-bearing elements of the analysed structure are composed entirely of reinforced concrete. Assembly of load-bearing elements is mostly identical across all stories. We analysed one typical horizontal load-bearing element – RC slab and one typical vertical element - RC wall. Self-weight, permanent and variable loads were considered in the analysis as well as the impact of wind, snow and earthquake load. Software SAP2000 was used to create idealised mathematical model and analysis of RC slab. For the vertical RC wall, we used software ETABS, with which we created a mathematical model of the entire building, to perform the analysis of the RC wall itself. From the results of the analyses, we designed reinforcement needed to provide adequate structural stability and safety according to Eurocodes. Using the software Allplan, reinforcement plans were created and are presented at the end of this thesis.
