Globalization and development of technology have contributed to the expansion of HRM practices, while reducing distances within and between organizations. Human Resource Management has evolved from an administrative to a strategic function. Technological advancements and the development of the World Wide Web have allowed organizations new ways of working. By eliminating physical and time constraints, organizations can offer employees forms of work such as distance work and virtual teams. Organizations can use technology to optimize HRM processes. Digitalization slowly affects all HRM processes. Technology has enabled both, employees and management, to participate in such processes and to co-create Human Resources Management. Digitalization changes the nature of work, including the nature of work of HRM. In the master's thesis, we first created a theoretical overview of the topic, based on the processed literature and other sources. In empirical part we determined how digitalization of HRM affects the companies studied. For the study, we obtained data with semi-structured in-depth interviews and the data was analysed using the text analysis method. We found that digitization contributes to the efficiency of the HRM, as it significantly reduces the administration and thus allows time for strategic issues and development.
