In the diploma thesis, I compare three performances of the Škofja Loka Passion in 1999, 2009 and 2015. The directors of the last two performances, Borut Gartner and Milan Golob, follow a directorial proposal by Marjan Kokalj, who is the director of the performance in 1999. He has splited the text into more individual scenes, which are simpler to understand to the viewers. There is a minimum overhead rejection that indicates the author's approach to the original text. The message of the procession is still important for the wievers today. It invites them to live a better life, which enables the actuality of the text in the present day.
